There is a place for active, regular forum members to share news of new products and updates and such -- But there is no "drive-by" advertising.

Yes, if you would like to become part of the community and have your link in your signature, that's cool. If your first post is an advert, not cool.

Then move along, skippy - there's clearly nothing for you at this site.
If you don't have time to participate here, then we don't have a reason to interact with you in any way........

OlafB wrote: Thanks for telling me what's cool or not cool. Sorry guys, but I don't have the time to make 300 posts and then show what libraries I make (kind of hypocritical). And I don't have the money to buy advertising.
As a fellow sample library seller, I've been in the same boat. The difference is, I actually became part of several communities while putting my link in my signature. If anyone asked a question that pertained to samples like the ones I was selling, I would answer the question and work in my shameless plug.

If you don't have money for advertising, your business plan sucks.

OlafB wrote:Btw: this forum is full of drive-by-advertising. But that's ok, it's not a thing we should be scared of...
Show me some drive by advertising and it will meet with the same fate.

We welcome everyone who wants to be part of the community...except spammers.

Thank you for giving me permission to do my job. I appreciate it.
